During their training camp in Norway, England Women’s U-23s won a friendly international 2-1 at the Mellos Stadium.

The Young Lionesses took the lead with just less than 20 minutes to go, when Missy-Bo Kearns’ corner kick was fumbled by the Norwegian goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen into her own goal.

England doubled their advantage in stoppage-time, with Kearns capping a flowing move by coolly slotting home.

Emilie Bragstad pulled a goal back for the hosts in the third minute of added time.
