England Women U-19s won a penalty shoot-out against the Netherlands following a 1-1 draw at the Albir Garden Tournament in Spain.

West Ham’s Princess Ademiluyi opened the scoring for the Young Lionesses inside 20 minutes, helped by Birmingham City’s Ava Baker.

The Dutch equalised midway through the second half with a free kick but Sophia Poor – on loan at London City Lionesses from Aston Villa – saved a spot-kick to help force the shoot-out.

Lauren Smith’s side then came out on top, 5-3 on penalties.
