England Women’s U-19s bounced back from a defeat to Spain to defeat the USA 2-0 in Alicante on Sunday afternoon.

Lola Brown took just six minutes to open the scoring, when turning in the rebound from Jessie Gale’s saved shot.

Gale got the second herself ten minutes later, to give England a two-goal advantage at the break.

Many changes were made at half time but England were quite comfortable in holding on to their two-goal lead.

The Young Lionesses finish their tournament matches against Netherlands on Wednesday morning, kick-off 11am GMT.
