When is England vs Netherlands? TV channel, kick-off time and how to watch Euro 2025 clash

It will be a must-win match for England in their clash vs the Netherlands on Wednesday night, and here our guide explains what TV channel you can watch the game.

England vs Netherlands preview

England are already in a dangerous predicament at Women’s Euro 2025 after their opening defeat to France.

The Lionesses had high hopes going into Euro 2025, after winning the trophy for the first time three years ago.

However, they could crash out of the tournament just one week after it started, following their 2-1 loss to France.

France are fully expected to beat underdogs Wales, meaning that a loss to the Netherlands could see them exit the tournament.

A victory would see the Lionesses and the Netherlands both locked on three points going into the final group game. Sarina Wiegman’s side would have the advantage given that they face Wales on the final day, while the Netherlands face France.

Bayern Munich midfielder Georgia Stanway has urged the Lionesses to ‘put things right’ against the Netherlands.

She suggested that there wasn’t enough communication during the opening game against France.

The Netherlands found it comfortable against Wales in their opening game – however it was Rhian Wilkinson’s side’s first ever game at a major tournament. Wiegman’s Lionesses should pose a far greater threat when the two nations meet on Wednesday.

Team news and predicted line-ups

Ella Toone was a surprise omission from England’s starting XI against France.

However, she could come back into the frame for Lauren James, who is not long off the back of an injury.

Players including Jess Park, Grace Clinton and Niamh Charles are all pushing for a start. However, Sarina Wiegman could keep a largely unchanged side from the one which lost to France.

England predicted XI: Hampton; Bronze, Williamson, Greenwood, Carter; Stanway, Walsh, Toone; Mead, Hemp, Russo

There is no reason to change for the Netherlands after their impressive victory over Wales, so don’t expect anything drastic from the Dutch coach.

Netherlands predicted XI:Van Domselaar; Casparij, Janssen, Buurman, Brugts; Groenen, Van de Donk, Kaptein; Pelova, Roord, Miedema

England vs Netherlands Prediction

This could be one of the most exciting group stage games at Euro 2025, especially given the amount that is at stake here.

The Lionesses know how important a victory is with zero points currently on the board. However, the Netherlands pose a dangerous threat and will be keen to qualify with one game to spare.

Expect plenty of goals but here at SheKicks, we expect the Lionesses to just scrape through with the victory.

Prediction: England 3-2 Netherlands
