America-based England striker Jodie Taylor, who has just left Washington Spirit to join their National Women’s Soccer League rivals Portland Thorns, will be out to put one over her former team mates when England face the USA on Friday.

The American squad for the friendly international at Milton Keynes includes four Spirit players – Ashlyn Harris, Ali Krieger, Crystal Dunn and Tori Huster.
Goalkeeper Harris will be Taylor’s main point of focus as she looks to score her first England goal in what will be her fourth international appearance.
“It would be lovely to stick a goal past Ashlyn,” said 28-year-old Taylor, “and that’s obviously going to be my aim. I’ve had a bit of contact with the U.S. players recently, but I’ve not seen any of the Spirit girls since my move to Portland.
