UEFA U-17 CHAMPIONSHIP
GROUP A: Belarus 0-2 Norway, Serbia 1-4 England
GROUP B: Italy 1-3 Spain, Czech Republic 0-4 Germany
Miljana Ivanovic scored on the stroke of half-time only Georgia Stanway to win and convert a penalty for 7 minutes after the restart.
With 18 minutes left, Serbia’s Isidora Vuckovic was dismissed for a foul on Ellie Brazil, who herself put the Young Lionesses in front 6 minutes later.
Niamh Charles made it 3-1 and Mandy Cain completed the scoring 4 minutes from time.
The semi-finals are both in Zhodino on Friday at 12pm and 5pm UK time, with England up against Germany and Spain playing Norway.
The semi-finals and the final will be shown live on Eurosport, with both eventual finalists and 3rd Place Play-Off winners qualifying for the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup later this year in Jordan.
