Eintracht Frankfurt vs Real Madrid preview
Real Madrid enter the Champions League at the third qualifying round with a difficult two-legged clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frankfurt are four-time winners of the Women’s Champions League, last lifting the trophy 10 years ago.
Recent years have been bit more of a struggle in Europe, exiting in the qualifying round to Sporting CP last season.
Real Madrid have never won the tournament but have reached the quarter-finals in two of the past four seasons.
However, the Spaniards have had a difficult start to the season, taking just one point from their opening two league outings.
Signe Bruun rescued a point in the 93rd minute against Logrono, before they fell to a 2-1 defeat to city rivals Atletico.
Frankfurt were in ruthless form in their Frauen-Bundesliga opener against SGS Essen on Friday, scoring five goals, including a brace from Geraldine Reuteler.
The winner of the two-legged tie will progress to the new league phase of the Women’s Champions League, with the losers demoted to the Women’s Europa Cup.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Real Madrid prediction
Real Madrid have the superior squad with some excellent attacking talent, including Athenea del Castillo and Linda Caicedo.
However, Madrid have had a shaky start to the domestic season, and have been leaky in defence.
With that said, we predict the sides will take a 2-2 draw back to the second leg in Madrid next week.
