Reading goalkeeper Mary Earps will train with the England’s squad, who will travel to the Netherlands next month for UEFA Women’s Euro 2017.
The Lionesses meet up today [Monday 5 June] in London for the start of their Euros prep camp.
They will face Switzerland away at the Tissot Arena in Biel on Saturday 10 June (5.15pm BST KO).
Sampson said: “We have brought a fourth goalkeeper with us for a number of camps over the past year, which has been of real benefit to the group.
“As a goalkeeper is such a specialist position it’s something we were keen to do to push them all on.
“Mary will be a positive addition to the group both in the training field and around the camp. She has had a fantastic six months, a period in which we have seen her mature into an outstanding goalkeeper.
“This will be an invaluable experience for her to take her forward in the future.”
England kick-off their Euro 2017 campaign against Scotland in Utrecht on 19 July, followed by Spain in Breda on 23 July and Portugal in Tilburg on 27 July.
The Lionesses will also play Denmark at the Gladsaxe Stadium in Copenhagen on Saturday 1 July, in their last match before the tournament.
