Dundee United Women’s new coach’s first summer signing is Northern Ireland goalkeeper Lauren Perry from Forfar Farmington.

After missing out on promotion to SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League 1 last term, Graeme Hart has brought in a young goalkeeper who has already played at that level.

The 20-year-old – who made her senior international debut aged just 16 – was in the top flight last season with Forfar Farmington, had Champions League experience at Linfield and previously played in the FA Women’s Championship for Blackburn Rovers.

A previous winner of the NIFWA Women’s Football Personality of the Year and NIFL Player of the Year awards, Perry was nominated for the SWPL player of the month award in April this year.
