The Bute Energy Welsh Cup 1st Round saw Swansea City win at Cardiff Met and Swansea University eliminate Barry Town United on penalties.

Fflur Williams scored three of Felinheli’s six at Bangor, Sade Benjamin’s brace helped Rhyl knockout Llangefni 4-2.

Amy Jenkins scored two of Aberystwyth’s three goals at Llanfair United, Stevie Donougher and Ffion Owen got a couple each as Llandudno progressed.

Chantelle Teare, Ella Hartley and a Beth Lewis penalty saw TNS eliminate Connah’s Quay, Ava Suckley struck six times in Wrexham’s big win at Pwllheli

Chloe Chivers’ late double saw Swansea City win away to Cardiff Met, Adran South side Swansea University pipped top-flight Barry Town United on sudden-death penalties, after the visitors forced a shoot-out with a stoppage-time Lauren Harris strike.

Eloise Meaney bagged a brace of goals and assists in Cwmbran Celtic’s victory at Ammanford, as did Efa Preece-Jones in Pontypridd’s defeat of Penclawdd.

Katie Richards hit a hat-trick as Penybont put out Newport City, there were four-goal hauls for Cardiff City Women’s Mackenzie Olden and Eliza Collie, as the holders brushed aside Llanelli.

The draw for Round 2 will be streamed on RedWall+ from 8pm on Wednesday 18 October.
