Crystal Palace Women sign Finland international Milla-Maj Majasaari

Crystal Palace have signed Finland international goalkeeper Milla-Maj Majasaari from Belgian club Anderlecht.

She remarkably made her top-tier senior debut in Finland at just 14 years of age, later moving to Swedish side AIK where she was Goalkeeper of the Season.

After a spell with Uppsala, the 24-year-old joined Belgian top-flight team Anderlecht in January 2024.

Internationally, she progressed through Finland’s development teams to make her senior debut.

Majasaari told cpfc.co.uk: “Everybody I have spoken to has been so nice. I have been told about the project and have seen the facilities and I am so impressed, and excited to get started.”

Head of Football Grace Williams added: “We are very excited to welcome Milla into our goalkeepers’ union. Her professionalism and drive have impressed me from the start, and we are really looking forward to welcoming her to Crystal Palace.”
