
Crystal Palace will host Newcastle United in the last 16 of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup after a 6-1 victory over Sheffield United on Tuesday evening.
Palace took an early lead against the Championship side through Molly-Mae Sharpe, Ashleigh Weerden giving them a two-goal cushion before the half-hour mark.
Their progress was confirmed by further goals after the break from Mille Gejl, My Cato and a second for Weerden, while Alyssa Aherne scored a consolation for the Blades.
