Crusaders Strikers go fourth in Sports Direct Women’s Premiership

Crusaders Strikers defeated Derry City 5-0 to go fourth in the Sports Direct NIFL Women’s Premiership ahead of Friday’s fixtures.

The match began with a minute’s silence in memory of Strikers youth player Kaylee Black, who sadly passed away at the weekend aged just 13.

Derry City, bottom after the first two rounds of games, would lose again in front of a crowd of 532 at Seaview.

Caitlyn Hamilton’s opener was added to by a Faith Johnston double and one each from Rachel McLaren and Leah McEvoy.
