As a result of Brendan Walshe stepping up to become Chief Executive in the New Year, a vacancy has now been created at the Chelmsford headquarters. The successful candidate will lead a large team of experienced and talented development staff and coordinate and implement the Essex County FA Strategy.
The role also encompasses liaising with key partners including the Football Foundation and other investment sources to support priority funding applications. They’ll be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. In addition they must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels, as well as a proven track record of managing staff.
