West Ham United saw off Durham to set up a FA Women’s Continental League Cup semi-final clash away to holders Chelsea.

Thursday’s tie came to life late in the first half when Durham’s Mollie Lambert forced a flying save from Mackenzie Arnold but it was West Ham who then struck not just once but twice in the five minutes before the break.

Emily van Egmond cleverly flicked the ball home when the Wildcats failed to clear a corner, before Adriana Leon set up Katerina Svitkova to double the lead.

Hawa Cissoko headed home her first Hammers goal to make it 3-0 in the dying minutes.
