Chelsea have signed French striker Louna Ribadeira on a four-year deal but she will return to Paris FC on loan for the 2024/25 season.
She made 24 appearances and scored eight goals for Paris FC last term and was named the Division 1 Young Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old has already clocked up 60 senior club appearances and made her debut for the French senior team during a 2-1 win against England.
Ribadeira told chelseafc.com: ‘I’m so happy to join Chelsea because for me it is one of the best teams in the world.
‘I’ll continue my development at Paris for now and join Chelsea with more experience and more development of myself as a player.’
General manager Paul Green added: ‘Louna has shown great promise early on in her career and we believe her instinctive finishing will prove to be a real asset to the club in the future.
‘We look forward to welcoming her to the Chelsea family after she has continued her development back at Paris FC next season, where she has already benefited from regular game time.’
