Charlton Complete Capital Cup Hat-trick

The Addicks had earlier lost to Spurs in the Ryman Cup Final but they added to their two Premier League victories over Tottenham with success at Wingate & Finchley FC last night, Wednesday April 27th.

The game was only 11 minutes in when Gemma Shepherd turned her defender and found Kit Graham, who placed the ball into far corner to open the scoring.

It was 2-0 with 22 minutes gone, Nikita Whinnett denied by Toni-Anne Wayne but the rebound falling kindly for Sheperd to lob home.

There was no addition to the scoring until the final 10 minutes, when Graham suared the ball to Shepherd to net her second of the night.

Player of the match was Charlton’s Kim Dixson, who was also celebrating her 200th appearance for the club.
