Charlton Athletic have signed 18-year-old former Arsenal and Watford winger Corinne Henson on a one-year contract.

The Arsenal Academy graduate was on a dual-registration with the Hornets last season.

Henson told charltonafc.com: “I am absolutely delighted to be here and I am grateful for the opportunity.

“Charlton fans can expect to see versatility from me – being able to play anywhere along the flank. I want to contribute defensively but also attacking-wise and I believe I bring a lot of technical ability too.”

Addicks head coach Karen Hills said: “I am delighted to have Corinne here at Charlton. She is a young player who possesses a lot of desire and energy. She will fit in really well with the rest of the squad and we are all very excited to see what she can achieve going forward.”
