Charlton Athletic have signed 26-year-old former England U-23 international midfielder Carla Humphrey on a two-year deal after her departure from Liverpool.
Humphrey had four years at Bristol City and then moved to Liverpool, whom she helped return to the WSL.
She told charltonafc.com: “I’m really excited. Really pleased to be here – I’ve met all the girls, and it’s a great group and a really talented group – I’m really happy to be here.”
“They’re people that can help me develop my game to another level. Hopefully, I can come in and add competition for places. As I said, it’s a talented group, I feel like they’re the types of players I want to be playing with, and hopefully, we can work together and succeed this season.”
