Celtic held on to defeat Glasgow City 1-0 following a Chloe Craig penalty, given for Sam van Diemen’s foul on Maria McAneny in the 53rd minute. While keeper Kelsey Daugherty kept City out, the crossbar came to Celtic’s rescue late on to deny Nicole Kozlova with a header.

Katie Wilkinson made if seven goals in the opening two games for her new club, as Rangers beat Partick Thistle 4-0. Chelsea Cornet got the other goal to Wilkinson’s hat-trick, with the scoring completed four minutes into the second half.
Motherwell held off a Montrose fightback, to take the points by the odd goal in five. Morgan Cross, a Rachel Todd penalty and Bailley Collins had the hosts three up in the space of 16 minutes, Louise Brown and Holly Daniel replied early in the second half but there would be no leveller for the visitors.
Hearts hit Spartans 5-0 set up by two goals in the space of three first-half minutes, Joely Andrews opened the scoring on 28 minutes and Sade Adamolekun doubled the advantage. Lauren Wade got the third five minutes after the restart, Liz Waldie netted late on and Adamolekun got her second in added time.
Hibernian sank Aberdeen 7-0, with braces by Tegan Bowie, Eilidh Adams and Kathleen McGovern, the latter scoring one from the penalty spot. Four of the goals came in the last 25 minutes, while Stacey Papadopoulos contributed to a 2-0 interval lead.

Kilmarnock 3-1 Gartcairn
Livingston 2-0 Boroughmuir Thistle
St Johnstone 2-5 Rossvale
Hamilton lead the table with back-to-back victories, following a 7-1 success at Ayr where Josephine Giard hit a first-half hat-trick.
Rossvale also made it two wins from two, with a 5-2 victory over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. Jemma McQuillan, Lauren Coleman and Olivia Foulds struck to send them in three up at the break, the hosts hit back twice but Mel Porter and a second from Coleman sealed the win for the newcomers.
Kilmarnock got off the mark 3-1 over Gartcairn, with first-half goals from Georgia Crooks, Dionne Brown and Cara Gray.
First points on the board also for Livingston who beat Boroughmuir Thistle, Lauren Evans’ opener added to from a Rachel Walkingshaw corner which Erin Burns might have got the final touch to.
