Carlisle Secure Their First Ever Team Sponsors

As part of the deal the Carlisle-based legal team will see their logo placed on the front of Carlisle’s brand new kit, which has been introduced to coincide with the deal. The partnership marks the first time United’s Ladies team have enjoyed backing from a primary sponsor.

Speaking at Brunton Park at the launch of the partnership, Bendles Managing Partner, John Stevenson, said: “We are delighted to be supportng the Ladies Football team. As a local business we believe it is important to support our local sportsteams. We wish the Ladies team the very best for the remainder of the season.”

The new partnership has been welcomed by Carlisle United Chief Executive, Nigel Clibbens, who enthused: “We are delighted to see the Ladies playing in official kit and the new sponsorship will go directly and exclusively into developing ladies football at Carlisle United. Bendles LLP Solicitors are a longstanding supporter of the club and to see them now backing the Ladies is most welcome. We are all United together in striving to see ladies football at Carlisle United go from strength to strength.”

CUFC Manager, Keith Curle, and his Assistant, Colin West also backed the team with a sponsorship deal including new travel and training wear.

CULFC Manager, Tracy Gannon, said: “We are thrilled that Bendles LLP Solicitors have sponsored the Ladies team this season. When the club gave the team the opportunity to seek our own sponsorship it was important to us that it was a local company. For them to show their support though the development of ladies football at the club, is a great opportunity for us to grow and look more professional.”

Carlisle currently sit sixth in the North West League Division 1 North table and will commence their campaign in the Cumberland Cup next month, where they will be looking to reach a third straight final, having lifted the trophy in 2015.
