Title Bristol City WFC Regional Talent Club U16 Head Coach
Salary £16/hr
Location WISE Campus, New Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8LP
Training times 6pm-8pm Tuesday and Thursday
Game days Saturday mornings throughout the season
Responsible to Technical Director
Purpose of post Deliver practical football sessions in line with the technical programme and club philosophy
Start Date September 2016
Responsible for:
· Developing players within the Bristol City WFC Pathway
· The welfare of players including ensuring all safeguarding is adhered to at each session and game
· Providing high quality coaching and support
· Implementing a training and games programme in line with Bristol City WFC player development programme
· Leading the squad for fixtures
Key skills and experience required:
Essential:
· UEFA B Licence
· FA Youth Award Module 1 and 2
· FA First Aid Qualification
· FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
· Knowledge and understanding of player development
· Willingness to work weekends and training events when required
· FA licenced coaches club member 2016-17
Desirable:
· FA Youth Award
· An understanding of Talent Identification
· An appreciation of Long Term Player Development
· Knowledge and experience of working with young players
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Understanding of the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway
· BFAS Award
