Brighton & Hove Albion Women have brought in South Korea international Lee Geum-min on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

The 26-year-old striker, who has made more than 50 appearances for her country and scored 16 goals, joined City last August after impressing during the World Cup.

Albion head coach Hope Powell told the club’s website: “We’re delighted to bring Lee to the club, it’s a real coup for us to sign a player of her quality and experience.

“She has had a year in England so knows the league and she will help us in an area that want to improve which is to score more goals.

“We’re really looking forward to working with her and I know how much she is looking forward to a new challenge here at Brighton.”
