Brighton & Hove Albion have signed 23-year-old goalkeeper Melina Loeck from Swedish side Kristianstads DFF.

Loeck began her professional career with Wolfsburg in her native Germany, then moving on in 2020 to play in the Swedish top flight.

Head coach Melissa Phillips told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’re really pleased to welcome Melina to the club as our first signing of the January window.

“She’s a young talent and possesses key attributes that will benefit our defence. She brings uniquely different strengths within our squad and will thrive competing with our other goalkeepers.”
