Brazil draw with Colombia in women’s international friendly

Brazil denied Colombia victory, while China, Mexico and Nigeria were among the winners in international friendly fixtures.

Colombia led Brazil for almost 70 minutes, following the early goal of Catalina Usme struck from outside the box. Tarciane equalised with a  header from a corner kick delivered by Yasmim.

Kiana Palacios gave Mexico a fourth-minute lead over Venezuela, Nicole Pérez taking the final score to 3-0 with a brace in 13 second-half minutes.

Rashidat Abijade bagged a first-half brace to see Nigeria record a 2-0 victory over Algeria.

China beat Uzbekistan 3-0 in a three nations tournament, Wang Yanwen, Chen Qiaozhu and Tang Jiali the scorers.
