Birmingham County Women’s League sees influx of teams

The Birmingham County Women’s League ended the abbreviated 2019-20 campaign with 18 teams but will begin the new one with 24.

Alvechurch, Coventry Sphinx Reserves, Darlaston Town and Rugby Borough were all promoted to take the Premier Division up to a dozen teams.

There were more comings and goings but Division 1 now also has 12 on board, with an influx of the following sides: Bournville, Castle Vale Town, FC Premier, Long Itchington, Redditch United Reserves, Rugby Borough Development, Stourbridge Development, Sutton United LFC, University of Warwick.
