Brighton’s latest new signing is former Sheffield United midfielder Bex Rayner, who played over 100 times for the Blades.
The 24-year-old former England youth international was a title winner with Doncaster Belles before having two spells with Sheffield United.
In-between times she spent 18 months at Nottingham Forest.
Zoe Johnson, managing director of women’s and girls’ football, told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’re delighted to welcome Bex to Brighton. She was a standout player last season in the Women’s Championship.
“She’s now looking to progress her career in the WSL, and we’re looking forward to seeing how she develops with us.”
