Ben Gooden new Anguilla Women’s and Elite Academy Coach

In charge of Chorley WFC from 2019 to 2022, Ben Gooden has now been appointed Anguilla FA Women’s and Elite Academy Coach.

In his capacity, he will be responsible for the overall development of the U20 and Senior Women National Teams, who compete in Concacaf and Caribbean competitions.

He will work closely with the AFA Executive and Technical Director on educational and development programs and team average models.

Previous to coming to the AFA, Ben has 14 years of experience working across all ages ranges with both male and female players. He was the former coach of FAWNL side Chorley WFC, Head Coach of regional league Blackburn CSC Women (2016-2019) and also on the English FA’s Regional Emerging Talent Programme.

He has experience as a Women’s Technical Director of the Athletics International Academy in Trinidad and Tobago and also a Technical Skills Coach at the Manchester City’s Development Centre.
