The former Liverpool forward has put pen to paper on a deal to become Emma Coates’ first new signing ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Hanson, who has represented Scotland at youth levels, joins the Belles following a 2016 loan spell with Sheffield FC, making 10 appearances in FA WSL 2.
Upon signing for the club, the 18-year-old, who studies at Leeds Beckett University, told doncasterroversbelles.co.uk: “I can’t wait to get started and learn from some experienced players.”
Coates was thrilled to get the signing over the line, commenting: “Kirsty is a young, exciting prospect, she has all the makings of a top striker and I’m sure she will she’ll be a success at the club.”
