Belles Boss To Take Up England Youth Role

Doncaster Rovers Belles have confirmed that head coach Emma Coates will be leaving the club at the end of October to take up a role with the FA.

She will leave the club to take up the role of Women’s National Specialist coach with the FA and England working with the U18s-U20s sides.

Coates, who joined Belles as a coach in 2014, has risen through the ranks at the club and was appointed head coach in June of 2016.

Doncaster say that since then her quality of coaching has caught the eye of many and impressed the FA that they have offered her the role.

The Belles will now be making an interim appointment whilst a new head coach is recruited, with Coates’ final game in charge coming against Aston Villa on 29th October.
