Barry Town United hold Swansea City Women to goalless draw

TNS, Briton Ferry and Cardiff City all made it two wins from two in the Genero Adran Premier, Barry held Swansea to a goalless draw.

The New Saints hit Aberystwyth for six to lead on goal-difference, Tiggeraa Webb scoring twice and Maria Francis-Jones contributing three assists.

Briton Ferry Llansawel sit second after sending Wrexham to a 3-0 defeat, Alice Broadley, Tija Richardson and Lowri Ridings their scorers.

Cardiff City are third following a 3-1 victory in the capital clash with Cardiff Met. The Archers took and early lead through India Shanahan but Fiona Barry equalised and Ffion Price converted a penalty and also a free kick.

Barry Town United got off the mark with a very creditable goalless draw at Swansea City Stadium.

Meanwhile, there was a fair bit of Welsh Cup action that survived the weather for Adran North and Adran South sides, along with regional league teams.
