The Barclays Women’s Super League returns after the international break and top of the bill is Arsenal at home to leaders Manchester City.
Man City are six places but just three points ahead of the Gunners, while only goal-difference better off than Chelsea who on Saturday lunchtime visit an Aston Villa side still to bank their first points.
Spurs are a point behind the leading pair and home to Everton, Brighton entertain fourth-placed Manchester United.
Liverpool and Leicester City go head-to-head with the Foxes in front of the Reds by virtue of goals scored, while West Ham welcome Bristol City who again attempt to get off the mark since their return to the top flight.
Sunderland lead the Championship by three points ahead of the derby away to Durham at noon on Sunday, which is heading for a sell-out crowd.
Charlton Athletic are within striking distance of the top team and away to Lewes on Friday evening. Southampton are also three points short of the Black Cats and home to Sheffield United, Crystal Palace are a further point back and away to Watford.
Blackburn Rovers take on London City Lionesses and Birmingham City play Reading whom they lead by two points.
