Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal came from behind with ten players to deny Manchester United victory.
Manuela Zinsberger had already parried a drive by Ona Batlle before United scored inside ten minutes, Alessia Russo heading in from a Katie Zelem corner.
Leah Galton was close to adding a quick second but Vivianne Miedema went closer at the other end, her powerful strike tipped onto the crossbar by Mary Earps.
Russo was on the line to prevent Jen Beattie equalising, Ella Toone might have doubled the lead in the last 20 minutes but shot wide with only the keeper to beat.
The Gunners lost Katie McCabe to a second caution with 15 minutes left, however her side were soon level as Miedema’s long ball sent Stina Blackstenius to slot home passed the outrushing keeper.
