Ballymoney United Ladies won the LWS Super Cup Final

The NIWFA season concluded with Ballymoney United Ladies beating Greenisland in the Local Women Sport Super Cup Final.

It was a double for Ballymoney United Ladies, who had won the League Cup, while Greenisland were Division 1 champions.

Ballymoney went two up in the opening quarter of an hour or so, Aine McAlister netting on both occasions.

Cleo-Neece Taggart made it 3-0 close to the interval and McAlister completed her hat-trick midway through the second half.

Greenisland responded with goals by Saskia Love and Rachel Patterson but the second of those was not until the 90th minute.
