Australia Women beat South Africa 4-1 at Kingsmeadow Stadium

Australia beat South Africa 4-1 in a friendly international fixture played at Kingsmeadow Stadium on Saturday lunchtime. 

Courtnee Vine bagged a first-half brace from close range and Clare Polkinghorne headed the Matildas three up before the break. Caitlin Foord fired in the fourth, Hildah Magaia getting a consolation with a chip from 30 yards.

Japan defeated New Zealand 2-o on Sunday, Hinata Miyazawa scoring just before the break and Riko Ueki after the hour mark.

Poland fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Argentina, Estefania Banini and Erica Lonigro netting in the first 20 minutes, Martyna Wiankowska replying twice.

Colombia edged Paraguay 1-0 with a 32nd-minute effort by Ivonne Chacon.
