Aston Villa Women have signed defender Lucy Parker on a two-year contract with the option of extending for a further year.
The 24-year-old joins after two seasons with West Ham United, having earlier played in the States for Louisiana State University and UCLA.
Manager Carla Ward told avfc.co.uk: “Lucy is someone we’ve tracked for some time and we know we had a lot of competition to sign her.”
“She’s a front-footed, ball-playing centre-half and is someone who will add a lot of quality to our defensive unit.”
