Greater Manchester-based Ashton United FC are holding trials for their newly formed women’s team on 23rd June.
The club are ‘looking for competitive and ambitious players who want to be part of growing a new semi-professional team within a progressive club dedicated to gender equality in sport.’
The side will play at the club’s Hurst Cross stadium, which hosted National League football in the season just ended.
There will be professional coaching and management staff, with the team well funded and fully integrated within the club.
