Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers has made two changes to her side to face Manchester City from the one that won the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup last weekend.

Unsurprisingly, Daphne van Domselaar replaces Anneke Borbe, who went off injured in last Sunday’s match after a nasty collision towards the end of the game.

Caitlin Foord in for Blackstenius

Caitlin Foord, who scored the winning goal in extra-time last Sunday, replaces Stina Blackstenius, who is not included in the squad.

Loan signing Barbora Votikova, adding experience in the goalkeeper position, is on the bench.

Slegers had hinted on Friday that Leah Williamson may be fit enough to return, but she is also named as a substitute.

Arsenal team: Daphne van Domselaar, Emily Fox, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Steph Catley, Katie McCabe, Kim Little (c), Mariona Caldentey, Alessia Russo, Beth Mead, Caitlin Foord, Olivia Smith.

Substitutes: Barbora Votikova, Naomi Williams, Laia Codina, Leah Williamson, Smilla Holmberg, Sophie Harwood, Victoria Pelova, Frida Maanum, Chloe Kelly.

Manchester City: Andree Jeglertz names unchanged side

Manchester City have named an unchanged side. Vivianne Miedema will face her old side, alongside the in-form Bunny Shaw and Kerolin Nicoli.

City are eight points clear at the top of the Women’s Super League. Second-placed Manchester United beat Leicester 2-0 on Saturday and closed the gap, but City can extend their advantage back to 11 points if they win at the Emirates today.

Manchester City: Ayaka Yamashita, Jade Rose, Rebecca Knaak, Alex Greenwood (c), Kerstin Casparij, Laura Blindkilde Brown, Yui Hasegawa, Lauren Hemp, Kerolin, Vivianne Miedema, Bunny Shaw.

Subs: Khiara Keating, Grace Clinton, Laura Coombs, Leila Ouahabi, Sam Coffey, Sydney Lohmann, Iman Beney, Gracie Prior, Lily Murphy.
