Arsenal And Bristol Into WSL Dev Cup Final

Arsenal continued their defence of the WSL Development Cup by getting back in the final with a 2-0 defeat of Sunderland.

Gunners’ goalie Sian Rogers had dome much to keep her side lon level terms in the first half.

But nna Patten fired the Gunners ahead after the Black Cats failed to clear a corner and Anna Filbey set her up.

Jess N’Gunga beat three players before teeing up Rianna Dean for the second.

In the other semi-final, Northern Division leaders Liverpool suffered a first loss of the season, going down in extra-time at Bristol City.

Gabriella Simmons-Bird bagged a brace for the Vixens, Lauren Hemp and Amy Goddard getting their other goals.

The final is scheduled for Sunday 21st May at a venue yet to be confirmed.
