Arsenal say that Anna, a strong, towering presence at the back, will join Dutch international Sari Van Veenendaal in their first team squad.
Anna said: “It’s a dream to have signed for Arsenal Ladies. I want to continue to work hard, to develop as a keeper, and to gain as much experience as possible. I can’t wait to get started.”
As a young girl, Anna began her football career with non-league side Chaddy End. She was spotted by Manchester United scouts at the age of 16 and after 12 months in Manchester, she moved to Everton.
In 2015 Anna transferred to Durham and in a game against Doncaster that season, she impressed the Belles so much so that just a few months later she made the move to the WSL2 side.
Arsenal manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: “We are very pleased to have completed the signing of Anna. She is a powerful, towering keeper who is very driven and eager to develop. I’m looking forward to working with her.”
