Aldo In Africa

The Wildcats say that their stopper will depart in March to undertake human rights work in Ghana, meaning she will miss part of the FA WSL Spring Series.

She will, however, return in June ready for pre-season ahead of the 2017/18 FA WSL campaign.

Alderson will spend her three months in Ghana working as a Team Leader on a volunteering project based around human rights and education.

Her team will consist of half British and half Ghanaian volunteers, with the keeper leading the team alongside a colleague from Ghana.

She will spend her time in Africa living in a rural area with a local family while helping to educate those in the area.

The keeper will remain a part of the first team squad until her departure in March.
