#AdranLeagues: Swansea City Ladies take leadership from Cardiff City

Swansea City Ladies replaced Cardiff City FC at the top of the Adran Premier after beating them 4-0 away from home.

Swansea City scored early in each half away to Cardiff City FC through Chloe Chivers and Katy Hosford, with Rhianne Oakley then making sure of the win – and a fourth straight victory – with a quick brace.

Cardiff Met saw off TNS with two goals in the last dozen minutes of the first half. Grace Corne opened the scoring and Emily Allen added the second.

Aberystwyth Town took the points at Pontypridd, thanks to Jenkins’ 18th-minute penalty.

Port Talbot edged Barry Town United to bank their first points. Jessie Taylor and Courteney Thomas were on target after the visitors had overturned an early lead by Victoria Beddows with goals from Anna Houghton and Lauren Harris.

Connah’s Quay Nomads 2-6 Llandudno
Pwllheli 2-1 Airbus UK Broughton

Bethel beat Wrexham in a goalfest, with Ffion Williams scoring five times, the last on 107 minutes following a long delay due to a bad injury sustained by the hosts’ Katie Houghton. Ella Jones was twice on target in Llandudno’s win at Connah’s Quay Nomads, Magi Hughes got both goals to see Pwllheli beat Airbus.

Briton Ferry Llansawel 1-0 Swansea University
Cascade 0-2 Abergavenny
Merthyr Town 1-3 Cardiff Bluebelles
Caldicot Town 2-1 Talycopa

Georgia Howells came off the bench to get the only goal as Briton Ferry beat Swansea University. Lyndsey Davies netted twice in an eight-minute spell to give Abergavenny the win at Cascade. Annie Cruse marked her Cardiff Bluebelles debut with a brace in the 3-1 result away to Merthyr. Caldicot led Talycopa 1-0 at the break and went on to take the points 2-1.
