Goalkeeper Emily Orman has joined London City Lionesses from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year deal.

An England youth international at U-17 and U-19 levels, she has had loan spells with Crystal Palace and Reading, keeping five clean sheets in 18 league appearances as the Royals avoided relegation last term.

Orman told londoncitylionesses.com: “It’s cool to be part of an independent set-up, hopefully we’ll be able to create a name for ourselves and bring more fans along with us.

“I really want to develop more in my own space, growing with the team and helping in any way I can. Promotion is the result of consistent performances – and that’s what I want to deliver for the team.”
