Lisa Evans returns to Glasgow City for whom the Scotland centurion previously averaged more than a goal a game.

She left City to play in the Frauen Bundesliga in 2012, notching up over 80 appearances in the competition when at Turbine Potsdam and then Bayern Munich.

Returning to the UK with Arsenal, she played 62 times for the Gunners and then nearly 50 times for West Ham, before a spell last season at Bristol City.

The 32-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Glasgow City, adding to earlier signings of Katie Lockwood from Hearts, Ukrainian international Nicole Kozlova and American forward Rammie Noel from Icelandic side FH Hafnarfjordur.

Head coach Leanne Ross told glasgowcityfc.co.uk: “With the ability to play full-back, wing-back or winger, Lisa’s quality and versatility will be a major asset.”

“I can’t wait to work with her once again and see the positive influence she can have on our players and environment.”
