Cheadle Town Stingers have secured a first-ever promotion to the FA WNL after sealing the North West Regional League Premier Division title.
EASTERN – Real Bedford bank 14th win in a row
Premier – Real Bedford made it 14 straight wins but with a narrow 2-1 scoreline at tenth-placed St Albans City, Royston Town ran out 5-0 winners over Bowers & Pitsea.
1 North – Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers opened up a three-point lead as they beat Thetford Town 2-0, while Harpenden Town – who have a game in hand on the top team – were held 3-3 at Stevenage Development despite Sophia Amanor’s hat-trick.
1 South – Mid-table Lawford held leaders Watford Ladies Development 3-3 away from home, Wormley Rovers derby clash with Cheshunt was abandoned at half time due to disciplinary reasons.
EAST MIDLANDS – Lincoln United net nine to go ten clear with 11th win
Premier – Lincoln United lead by ten points after an 11th win on the trot, 9-1 at Basford United with four goals from Ellie Gilliatt. Rotherham United won 3-1 at second-placed Ilkeston Town, Chesterfield Ladies defeated Mansfield Town 2-1 with substitute Romy Sheppard on target.

1 Central – Nottingham Trent University opened up a three-point lead by beating Arnold Eagles 3-0 in the top-two clash. Asfordby Amateurs’ Sarah Brown scored four in the 5-0 win over Sandiacre Town but sub Kayla Ericson-Peay was sent off seven minutes after entering the field. Sherwood’s Katie Fish bagged a brace in a 3-2 victory at Loughborough Foxes Vixens.
1 North – Top of the table Gainsborough Trinity were held 1-1 at home by Emily Murphy’s goal for SJR Worksop, Dronfield Town gained ground with a 4-0 result at Retford, while Sleaford got the only goal of the game at Lincoln United Development.
1 South – Kettering Town went top on goal difference after Abbie Brown scored twice for a 3-1 win at Cardea, while Thrapston Town went down 4-3 at home to New Bradwell St Peter for whom Megan Smart got an early double and sub Lucy Hooper netted their decisive fourth goal. Leicester City Ladies came out on top against Nuneaton Borough by six goals to three.
LONDON & SOUTH EAST – 500 see Dulwich go second
Premier – Dulwich Hamlet sank Aylesford 7-0 in front of a crowd of 503 as they moved into second spot, Sutton United and Enfield Town drew 1-1 leaving the latter six points from safety but with several games in hand.

1 North – Sport London E Benfica extended their lead with a 1-0 win at Hackney, new Clapton CFC signing Egle Trezzi got three goals in a 7-1 result at Richmond Park, Actonians Reserves overcame Camden & Islington United 8-1 led by a Katy Hanscomb hat-trick, Ashmount Leigh edged a seven-goal thriller at Denham United.
1 South – Newhaven beat Hastings United for a 16th win in 17 games, third tied with fourth as Dartford Reserves were held 1-1 by Montpelier Villa, Steyning Town are still in the relegation zone after a goalless game with Bexhill United.
NORTH EAST –
Premier – Wallsend BC edged Alnwick Town 3-2 to go top with games in hand, Barnsley FC beat Sunderland West End 4-1 as sub Kirstie Nicholls netted three times, but trail Spennymoor Town on goal-difference following their 8-2 sinking of South Shields. Hull United won 4-1 against Wakefield AFC as sub Chloe Robinson got a goal either side of a late red card for the hosts Lauren Holmes. Harrogate Town drew 1-1 with Hartlepool United, as Redcar Town slipped to the bottom but from fewer games than both of them.
1 North – Ponteland United’s Rachel Bell netted half of their six goals at Bishop Auckland, Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves sent Hartlepool Pools Youth to a 4-1 loss.
League Cup 3rd Round – Bradford City sailed through to the quarter-finals, 7-0 against Altofts
NORTH WEST – Cheadle champions
Premier – Cheadle Town Stingers took the title in style when running out 9-1 winners at Bury, where Rachel Dunlop had a four-goal haul. West Didsbury & Chorlton leapfrogged Curzon Ashton into fifth spot, beating them 2-1 with Niamh Ritchie’s late goal.
1 North – Mancunian Unity’s 7-0 result against Fleetwood Town Wrens Reserves was their 17th win on the spin, Radcliffe’s Holly Davenport contributed a hat-trick to their 5-1 victory on the road at Penwortham Town.
1 South – Wythenshawe Women already led the table on goal-difference before steamrollering Altrincham 19-2. FC St. Helens hit Ellesmere Port Town 6-1, Poulton Vics beat Hindley 4-0 and 4-2 in a double-header, Northwich Vixens had a fine 3-2 win over Warrington as they battle to get off the bottom.
SOUTHERN – Milton launch big title chase by beating leaders
Premier – Bournemouth Sports cut Ascot United’s lead to six points with a game still in hand, by beating Badshot Lea 2-0. Winchester City Flyers had a good 5-1 result over fourth-placed Woodley United, sub Libby Wilkinson starring with an 18-minute treble.
1 North – Long Crendon finished their fixtures 13 points clear but with a 2-0 loss to Milton United, who are the only team now with a chance of catching them. Not only do Milton need to win all their six remaining games, they also have to make up a goal-difference deficit of 26.
1 South – AFC Stoneham’s 3-2 defeat of Woking cut Havant & Waterlooville’s leadership to one point with a game left each, although it is unbeaten AFC Portchester who are best placed to take the title.
SOUTH WEST – Marine Academy wait on runners-up spot
Premier – Marine Academy Plymouth won 2-0 at Bishops Lydeard with Carmen Morison at the double, to go second with their fixtures now completed. Sherborne Town need two points from two games to take the runners-up spot from them.
1 North – SGS Olveston United won 3-1 at Bitton, Rosanna Blacker scoring twice and a last-minute effort from sub Isabella Williams.
1 West – Ilminster Town won 9-1 at Bideford to reclaim pole position in the title battle from Helston Athletic.
WEST MIDLANDS – Port Vale step up promotion push
Premier – Burton Albion’s hopes of catching leaders Worcester City are all but over, following a goalless draw away to Kidderminster Harriers. Eight points from four games will be enough for unbeaten Worcester to be crowned champions.
1 North – Port Vale put pressure on top side AFC Telford United by defeating Darlaston Town, Walsall Wood are also three points off the top but with their games running out, after a 7-3 victory at Lichfield City Reserves, which featured hat-tricks from the visitors’ Freya Green and Rosie Hargreaves. Leek Town Reserves 0-0 draw with Coventry City was enough to lift them into fourth position.
1 South – Redditch Borough missed a chance to level on points with leaders Alvechurch, having to settle for a 3-3 home draw against Rugby Town as Emma Shaw scored twice but Kelsey Green hit a first-half hat-trick for the away side. Droitwich Spa needed a goal from sub Lisa Preece to see off basement side Sedgley & Gornal United 2-1.
