Everton FC Women have signed 21-year-old midfielder Emma Bissell on a two-year deal from Florida State Seminoles.
Bissell is a Manchester City Academy graduate who has played in the WSL for Bristol City.
She told evertontv: “I’m looking forward to being back in the WSL and testing myself against some of the top players and top teams in the country.
“Each team I have been at, I’ve learned and added different aspects to my game.
“I really think that’s benefited me and I’m looking forward to bringing that now back into the WSL and for Everton.”
Manager Brian Sorensen said of his latest signing: “She’s super mobile, you can see with her body language and her eyes that she’s really hungry and eager to learn,” he told evertonfc.com.
“Emma is a quality player who we were keen to get on board. She’s technically gifted, can beat players with her touch and she can finish.
“She can play offensive midfielder, where I imagine she sees herself the most, but she is capable of playing in a wider role as well.”
