While over 24,000 watched title-chasers Newcastle United, Stourbridge won FA Women’s National League Division 1 Midlands.

Northern Premier Division

Brighouse Town 1-1 Nottingham Forest (Att: 175)
Stoke City 3-3 Huddersfield Town (Att: 75)
West Bromwich Albion 1-2 Burnley (Att: 173)
Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-0 Derby County

Burnley were the only victors of the top three to again take second spot from Wolves and move within two points of leaders Nottingham Forest, over whom both they and Wanderers have a game in hand.

Southern Premier Division

Milton Keynes Dons 0-2 Ipswich Town (Att: 480)

Oxford United came from behind to win in added time, Carly Johns with the decider at Portsmouth, whose title hopes are consequently nearly over. Watford and Ipswich Town both won in added time to keep pressure on the leaders.

Stourbridge sealed the title with room to spare, making it back-to-back promotions and a first-ever to the third tier.

AFC Wimbledon moved just a point behind Hashtag United at the top from a game more, while over 7,500 saw Norwich City win at Carrow Road.

Exeter City again opened up a nine-point lead with Cardiff City LFC having their match postponed. AFC Bournemouth were watched by over 3,000 at the Vitality Stadium but held 0-0 by Maidenhead United.
