Wales Women’s assistant coach Richard Thomas departs

Richard Thomas has left his position as Assistant Coach to the Wales Women’s team to join League Two Colchester United as assistant manager.

Thomas had played a key role as Wales reached the FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-Offs for the first time in their history.

Wales manager Gemma Grainger told faw.cymru: “Richard was a great addition to the team when he joined 18 months ago, for both players and staff. He has been fantastic to work with, and we wish him all the best for the future.”
