Sweden beat Switzerland 2-1 to move onto four points in UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Group C with a game to go.

Inside the opening ten minutes, the referee pointed to the spot when Magda Eriksson collided with Noelle Maritz in the Swedish box, but reversed her decision when viewing the VAR footage.

Sweden had the better of the first half but with nothing to show for it, but early in the second half Fridolina Rolfo put them ahead.

However, Switzerland levelled within seconds, Ramona Bachmann with the finish after a cross was not cleared.

Stina Blackstenius looked set to score but Viola Calligaris blocked the shot on the line.
