London City Lionesses have signed forward Sarah Ewens from Birmingham City and goalkeeper Hermione Cull from Arsenal.
Ewens scored 64 goals in 98 appearances for Celtic earlier in her career, internationally she was capped by Scotland at youth levels.
Ewens told londoncitylionesses.com: “I’m really excited and glad to be here. There’s a really good squad here so I’m buzzing to get going.
“For me, from my first chat with Mel [Phillips], I really resonated with the values that she’s installed in the club, so I’m delighted to be here and can’t wait to get going.”
Head Coach, Melissa Phillips said: “Sarah has quality in abundance and is versatile across the front line.
“We are delighted to have her in this season as she brings experiences from the highest level at both Celtic and in the WSL.
“She is a mature footballer that brings perspective and leadership to the squad alongside her competitive mentality.”
